Terms of electricity sales for business customers Finkraft Oy
Electricity supply starts on the agreed date and continues according to the terms below.
The electricity is invoiced in advance six (6) times in a year unless the parties agree otherwise. The monthly percentage of an annual consumption estimation shall be used to estimate consumption in the place of electricity use. Estimated invoicing is balanced with the actual consumption on the basis of a meter reading.
If the start date of contract is not possible due to technical reasons for agreed time when changing energy provider, Finkraft Oy reserves the right to take care of these issues on your behalf. We will start the energy delivery process as soon as possible unless there is another agreement with customer.
According to the terms of electricity sales if there is changes on contract terms we will inform our customers not later than 30 days before changes take effect
We will check our customers credit information before sending order confirmation.
General consumption profile:
The general consumption profile is used in cases when metered electricity data is not available. Consumption profile chart is read in the following manner: the first line shows months and the second line shows the percentage of actual annual consumption.
Terms of contract termination:
Both parties to the contract may terminate a sale contract that is valid indefinitely, concluded outside the obligation to deliver, at two’ weeks notice. The user may always terminate a sale contract encompassed by the obligation to deliver at two weeks’ notice.
Both parties to the contract may terminate a fixed-term sale contract at the end of the term at 6 months’ notice. A sale contract may always be terminated encompassed by the obligation to deliver notice. If a fixed-term sale contract expires before the due date in contrary to the terms of the agreement, Finkraft Oy is entitled to collect contractual penalty from the user, however, at least 15 % of estimated invoicing amount for remaining contract period.
Changes on taxes, public payments or other equated charges are taken in account on contract prices immediately when changes take effect.
The customer shall be informed about these changes and how they impact on prices as soon as the vendor has the information.
If the place of electricity use doesn’t have hourly metering equipment, the purchase price will include 9 % profile cost on the products which are based on the stock market price.
Notifications about errors in electricity supply, metering data or other issues related to network service shall be reported to customer’s local network distributor.
The vendor follows the terms of electricity sales as recommended by Finnish Energy Industries (Energiateollisuus ry) (SME2014).
